Compliance

Vital Engenharia Ambiental is proud of its history and its operations across the country. We believe that our growth essentially results from the daily actions of each of our employees – applying values and sustaining the organizational culture in their daily professional activities.

To this end, we are constantly improving our Compliance Program, investing in the training of new Compliance agents and multipliers, systematically carrying out training on essential topics of the Program, aiming to train all of our employees.

In addition to integrating our professionals with the company’s values, which is essential for building solid partnerships, Vital’s Code of Ethics defines our fundamental principles. To ensure compliance with the law, we require our employees, suppliers, partners and other parties involved to comply with all laws applicable to our business.

To summarize these principles, we have drawn up our Code of Ethics, which sets out the conduct that our employees must adopt. Such actions and attitudes are achieved by maintaining ethics, trust and honesty within and outside the company.

Ensuring full excellence in the development and execution of our business, with integrity, is everyone’s duty and responsibility.

At the Ethos Institute, Vital plays an important role in building a common position among different sectors, as part of the Environment working group. The objective of this action is to positively influence Brazilian society on the main points of the national and international climate agenda.

A concrete example of this collective effort is the Cartilha de Integridade do Setor de Limpeza Urbana, Resíduos Sólidos e Efluentes (Integrity Booklet for the Urban Cleaning, Solid Waste and Effluent Sector). Produced in partnership with the Brazilian Global Pact Network and the Ethos Institute, the booklet received contributions from several companies and trade associations in the sector, demonstrating commitment to integrity and good practices in their operations.

Another initiative to facilitate the dissemination of compliance concepts and practices was the creation of a fun training course. Using a comic book style, we illustrate and discuss sensitive topics with our operational teams, demonstrating how they can manifest themselves in day-to-day operations. We highlight several ways to identify, combat and report potential deviations from our Code of Conduct.
