Class I – hazardous waste (NBR 10004) is waste that, due to its physical-chemical properties, may present a greater risk to the environment. Therefore, greater care must be taken when disposing of this waste.
To meet this demand, Vital, through its subsidiary Ecovital, built the largest and most modern incinerator in Brazil. Our incineration plant provides environmentally appropriate solutions for our customers and is located in the industrial district of Sarzedo (State of Minas Gerais), incorporating the most advanced technology and in compliance with the most demanding quality standards in atmospheric emissions.
Equipped with a dual-route waste feeding system – in bulk and packaged – simultaneously, its structure is capable of reducing water consumption, when compared to conventional incineration processes, due to the dry treatment and neutralization system of the gaseous effluent.
At the Ecovital incineration plant, we operate a modern and dynamic laboratory, responsible for the initial characterization of the waste, which performs analyses of essential parameters to guarantee environmental and occupational safety, in addition to ensuring the efficiency of the incineration process, such as moisture content, calorific value, volatile content, chlorine, sulfur, among others.
The plant’s construction layout is also remarkable, with several components working in perfect harmony, serving, among its customers, the chemical and petrochemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, in addition to the agrochemical sector.
